Description

This foundational course in graphic design guides students in developing and expanding their vocabularies in visual communication. Utilizing basic design elements and principles students explore graphic solutions for communication problems through digital and traditional tools. Emphasis is placed on research and idea generation as students learn to analyze and discuss their work as well as that of others, as they become familiar with the theoretical and practical aspects of the graphic design process. Creative studio practice is combined with lectures, readings, and software training. Course Fee $50
