Description
This course introduces students to the core topics in quantum mechanics and chemical thermodynamics. Physical chemistry examines mysteries of the subatomic scale while also investigating chemical systems on a larger scale. Topics include quantization, quantum models, heat, work, entropy, enthalpy, free energy, and the laws of thermodynamics. Prerequisites or Corequisites: MTH 141 and PHY 111
