Description

In this course students learn the details of how plate tectonics operates and the huge influence it has on conditions on Earth. They study everything from small-scale structures in rocks to the largest mountain ranges on Earth, and, in the process, they learn how conditions on Earth’s surface are intricately connected to what is going on deep inside the planet. Course Fee $25 Prerequisites: GSC 107, GSC 112, or GSC 120
