Description

Title: American Indian Environmental Perspectives

Students consult a range of texts and scholarship by Native American authors to consider what constitutes an environmental perspective and how such perspectives inform social movements, policy, and research. Class discussion and assignments lead students to examine historical and contemporary perspectives and their bearing on major concepts and topics within environmental studies. Prerequisites: Any NAS course or Junior standing
