Description
This course is required for students who lead SOEI Outdoor Pursuits Outings and Trips for Northland College. Students learn trip planning, effective use of outdoor equipment, minimum-impact techniques, map and compass use, and strategies for teaching backcountry skills. Students also explore personal leadership in an outdoor setting.
