Description

Primarily field ornithology and botany, this is a natural history course that includes surveys of life forms in a variety of plant communities. The course includes bird banding, herpetology surveys, plant keys, data collection, recognition of sounds, and observation techniques. The diverse Audubon Center property and the St. Croix River and Mississippi River drainages are the main focus. Course fee.
