Description

Using texts from Eastern and Western philosophy as well as novels, movies, artwork, and music, students examine sex, love, and desire. Specific topics include the relation of passion and reason, the role of passions in human life, the possibility or necessity of sexual morality, and marriage with special attention to the place of sexual desire in marriage.
