Description

Students study human psychology from a natural science perspective with an emphasis on the application of the scientific method in understanding mind-body processes. Topics include psychology as a science, psychobiology, evolutionary psychology, environmental psychology, visual and auditory perception, states of consciousness, learning, memory, thinking, language and intelligence. Experiential units include the scientific method, statistical analyses, scientific writing, and naturalistic observational methodology.
