Description

This course introduces students to the field of clinical psychology, to current topics in clinical psychology, and the areas in which clinical psychologists practice and conduct research. This course is an introduction to the fundamental theories of the psychotherapeutic process for students who are considering careers as therapists or counselors, for those who plan to work with at-risk populations, and for those who are interested in the process of personal change and psychological growth. Course fee. Prerequisite: PSY 114 or PSY 110, PSY 234, & PSY 246
