Students study a wholistic approach to health. This course is a comprehensive study of the bio-psycho-social approach in understanding how social, environmental, emotional, behavioral, biological, financial, and even spiritual factors influence health. Accordingly, we will cover a variety of topics including, but not limited to, environmental change, stress, finances, health care systems, addictions, nutrition, eating disorders, AIDS, coronary disease, pain, cancer, pediatric health, and aging. Prerequisite: PSY 110Lib Ed: SocSci
