Description

In this course students explore the interaction between conceptions of economic development and measures of progress and well-being. Students learn the evolution of development theory ??? from classic theories of growth, to human development, to sustainable development ??? and the application of these theories at local and international scales. Students analyze trends of both traditional and innovative indicators of development. Prerequisite: BUS 226 or ECN 263
