Description

This intensive reading course offers Sustainable Community Development majors a comprehensive survey of the discipline???s theoretical underpinnings. In a seminar setting, students read, discuss, analyze, and critique a diverse array of community planning, economic development, and ecology theorists from the past century, ultimately synthesizing and enhancing sustainable development theory for applied practice in the field. Prerequisites: SCD 110 or SCD 225 and at least 75 earned credits.
