Description

This workshop will introduce the concepts of designing and living within an "off-grid" system. Whether out of necessity or ideals, an off-grid living environment is meant to support all or almost all daily living requirments of a person (or small community) without dependence upon the larger societal infrastructure for food, water, shelter, electric, heating etc. Students will tour home(s), explore options, imagine their own space, and then make a preliminary design based off their knowledge and present to the class for discussion. Covers the ecological Wellness dimension.
