Description

Don?t know anything about sewing or very little but want to learn? This Basic Course teaches sewing machine care, threading, and tension adjustment. Students learn various types of machine sewn seams, types of fabrics, reading and understanding pattern lay-out and construction. Students complete a reference notebook with a variety of stitching techniques and notes for uses. There will be some hand sewing. For the last class students will construct one set of Napkins and one Skirt or zippered item. Covers the vocational Wellness dimension.
