Description
Learn about the traditional Ojibwe skill, cultural teachings, and methods behind making beaded loomwork. You will learn everything needed to complete a final project such as a bracelet, choker, or other finished piece: stringing the loom, designing a piece, beading the pattern, mounting the finished product onto leather, and adding finishing touches such as edging beads and jewelry clasps. Leave the class with a handmade loom to continue working on projects and a finished piece of jewelry created by you! Great for gifts! ($35 course fee covers cost of materials and supplies, all of which you keep!) Covers the social and intellectual Wellness dimensions.
