Description

For students with experience and capapbility in kayaks on rivers up to class II. Students should come to this course with a reliable pool roll. We'll explore rescue options, paddle teachnique, and work on manuevers for use on class III-IV whitewater, as well as instructor and teaching considerations for leading others on the river. This course includes several nights of overnight camping and will offer you American Canoe Association Whitewater level training. Students should have prior river kayaking experience, preferably with completion of a beginner whitewater course. Course Fee. Instructor approval required in order to register. Meets the intellectual and physical Wellness dimensions.
