Description

Are you interested in learning how to co-facilitate an introductory LGBT2QAI/Ally (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, Two Spirit, queer/questioning, asexual, intersex) training around campus or in our community? Become a Safe Zone Project facilitator! In this workshop, you will gain the tools necessary to co-facilitate 2-hour Safe Zone trainings, learn what it takes to be an effective co-facilitator, and encourage others how to be an effective ally. Safe Zone?s aim is to create an inclusive, safe and welcoming space for all. Be the change you want to see in your community ? here at Northland, and beyond! Bring your open minds and a willingness dig in! You must attend all class sessions in order to pass the course and receive your cetificate of completion. Covers the social and emotional Wellness dimensions.
