Description
An experiential workshop that draws out and further develops one?s inherent musicality as a means to study expressive and receptive communication through individuality and interaction. Students explore basic musical concepts, vocabulary and notation through activities that include focused observation of audio, video and live music and dance performances. Participants engage in both structured and improvised exercises in creating movement and music in a number of popular and global styles. Group discussion, written reflections and an applied project round out this multidimensional workshop. Covers the social and intellectual Wellness dimensions.
