Description

Title: Introduction to Sociology - Superior Connections

Students learn concepts and methods of sociology by studying the basic structure of social life, culture, group interaction, social institutions, stratification, power, and social problems. As part of the Superior Connections program, this course utilizes sociological concepts to understand life in and around the Lake Superior Watershed as students consider the relationship between sustainability and social justice.
