Connections Block: ENG 318-B024 Nature Writers and HIS 241-B024 American Environmental History
Through the lens of history and literary studies, students explore the many ways that Americans have depicted and acted on their believes about nature and the natural world. Readings of common texts and study of related movements and historical events provide students with an opportunity to differentiate between historical and literary approaches to understanding uniquely American attitudes toward nature.
