Description
In this introductory literature course, students read and analyze essays, short stories, novels, and poems that focus on or were inspired by human relationships to the Lake Superior Watershed or by water in general. Through the course, students learn how to apply systematic interpretive approaches to their reading and develop an appreciation for literary works from different genres and periods. Written and oral interpretive assignments are integral to the course. Prerequisite: XHH 115 or XNN 115. Connections Curriculum; Humanities.
