Description
The scientific study of modern and future climate change is rooted in the geologic past. In this course, students study the record of past climate changes across a variety of timescales, the use of proxy data and general circulation models (GCMs) as tools of inquiry, and the geologic context for which modern climate change can be attributed to human activities. Prerequisite: One of the following courses: GSC 107, GSC 112, GSC 120, CLM 125 or CLM 244.
