Description
Students use matrix and generalized vector spaces to understand multi-variable functions in real-life applications. Topics include vector spaces, linear dependence/independence, properties of matrices and determinants, linear transformations, inner product spaces, and eigenvalues. Prerequisites: MTH 141 or Instructor Consent. Satisfies Quantitative Reasoning requirement.
