Carnivore Tracking (NRS 104)

Term: Academic Year 2015-16 - Winter

Description

Educators from Northland College, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, and the Timber Wolf Alliance teach students the fundamentals of carnivore tracking. Students learn how to identify carnivores from informational lectures, demonstrations, and direct experience. Class includes a field trip to track carnivores. Students are required to complete one snow track survey within the month of February outside of class time. Course meets Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, once during the Winter semester in the month of February. Course fee $30
