Description

Introduction to Applied Aquatic Ecology exposes students to common field and lab skills used in water resource management. Course material is covered through an intensive, 1-week structure, in which students assist in ongoing applied research projects throughout the Lake Superior region. Students are exposed to: stream discharge measurement; climate change adaptation; beach health management; water chemistry; lake ecology; invertebrate ecology; and watershed restoration.
