Description

In this project- and field-based course, students study and monitor wolves in northern Wisconsin with a team of peers. Teams use radio telemetry to investigate wolf movements on the landscape, and they conduct tracking and howling surveys to determine the presence/absence of wolves in local areas as well as to understand spatial arrangements of packs in northern Wisconsin. Data collection requires some travel. Course Fee. Prerequisites: NRS 164
