Description
Students explore the current and future state of the labor market and the programs that leverage federal, state, and local financial resources to support workforce development. Through case studies and practical examples, this course addresses the difficulties experienced by the long-term unemployed, senior and youth workers, minorities, individuals with disabilities and individuals with limited formal education, as well as strategies designed to improve opportunities for job seekers. Prerequisite: ECN 263 or BUS 226.
