Description

The tin or penny whistle is a traditional Celtic woodwind instrument that's inexpensive, fun to play, and fits easily into a backpack. Students will learn about the history and culture associated with the whistle, the joys of jigs, reels and hornpipes, and techniques to play a tune or two. You do not need prior musical training or to know how to read music. Cost of the workshop is $10, which covers the cost of a D whistle you will keep. Course Fee.
