Description

Practice this ancient Chinese form of moving meditation to feel calmer, more focused, and centered. Through its slow, relaxed, and graceful series of movements, coordinated with easy, deep breathing, Tai Chi offers many health benefits (e.g., increased energy, reduced stress, improved balance, relief of chronic pain, improved cardiovascular fitness, improved sleep quality, reduced symptoms of Attention Deficit & Hyperactivity Disorder, and a greater overall feeling of well-being. In this workshop, build the foundation for learning Tai Chi?s long form by practicing the single forms of the First Section, including Preparation, Beginning, Upward/Downward, Inward/Outward, Raise Hands, Tai Chi Stance, Arrow and Bow, Holding Tai Chi Ball, and others. Covers the physical and spiritual Wellness dimensions.
