Description

Living fences are a traditional way of keeping critters out of the garden or in their pastures, as well as slowing down wind and snow. We will harvest local wild willows, plant them in the ground, weave some existing willows into a fence, and observe other living fence plantings in between stages. We will also do some work on living willow and aspen structures for kids and adults alike. We will also discuss other details about living fences, hedges, and windbreaks. Covers the ecological Wellness dimension.
