Description

This course provides an overview of sexualities from a sociological perspective within the context of the United States, with some cross cultural comparisons. Students study how sexuality is socially constructed and focus on how people become sexual beings, understanding sexual identities, sexual subcultures, sexual “devianceâ€, and the sex-for-profit industry.
