Environmental Health and Sustainability
Students in this course will use social epidemiological methods to explore the relationship between environmental health and sustainability issues with the goal of developing socially just solutions. This class will focus on social determinants of environmental health, measures and methods of studying health, exposures and impacts, and sustainable strategies. These concepts will be applied to sustainable and healthy cities, transportation, food, energy, and social justice issues. Prerequisites: SOC 111.
