Description

Students study environmental and social issues in Australia and New Zealand, while traveling in the regions and among the cultures associated with the issues. Specific sites visited during the course include the Sydney Opera House, the Blue Mountains, the Great Barrier Reef, the Bay of Islands, Mt. Cooke, and the Daintree Rainforest???the only Cultural and Natural World Heritage site in the world. Course Fee. Prerequisites: SOC 342 and Instructor Consent. Connections Curriculum; Social Science or Experiential.
